Game Description

The Browerville softball team was in Prairie conference action Tuesday taking on the Knights of West Central Area. The Tigers would take the game by a score of 10-2. Browerville would score a single run in each of the first four innings before breaking it open in the 7th. “We stayed with them for a while.” said WCA coach Bryan Poyzer. "We kept hanging around and getting girls on base, but we couldn’t get the big hit.” WCA would leave 6 stranded on base through the first 5 innings. Browerville cruised with great defense and solid pitching by M. Heyseth who would finish with 10 strikeouts and 0 errors behind her. C Pearson would come up big for the Tigers with 4 RBIs. “They are just a solid team that doesn’t make mistakes and that will get you far.” said Poyzer The Knights drop to 2-2 on the season and travel to Upsula on Thursday.
