Brainerd has bolted to a 3-1 start to its season, winning those four games by a combined score of 42-8. Pitcher Maddie Frantz, who shut down St. Cloud Apollo in an 8-0 victory in the Warriors' season opener, is joined by shortstop Maria West and catcher Sara Wennerstrand in a senior-dominated lineup. Rocori went 10-4 in the regular season before losses to Brainerd and St. Cloud Apollo knocked it out of the Section 8, Class 3A playoffs.
