Pipestone at Jackson County Central
4 p.m., Tuesday, May 6

Pipestone is the second-ranked team in Class 2A, has a 6-0 overall record and is 4-0 in Southwest Conference play. However it has not been able to shake away from Jackson County Central, which sits right behind with a 4-1 record in conference play. Marshall, which also is in the thick of the conference race, took down Jackson County Central last Friday, so Tuesday's game is going to be a big one. A Pipestone victory essentially locks up the conference title, but a Jackson win opens the doors for it and perhaps a few other contending teams. Pipestone is only allowing two runs per game while averaging 13.
