Osseo at Maple Grove

Now this one could be interesting. The Northwest Suburban is as solid up and down the standings as any conference in the state. Maple Grove, the top-ranked team in Class 3A just lost to Eastview on Saturday. Unranked Osseo took down the defending state champions, Elk River, on the same day. The two will square off on Friday in what is just another day of tough, competitive softball in the Northwest Suburban. Talk about a nice way to end the week? It's a contrast in rosters between the Crimson and Orioles. Maple Grove is loaded with juniors and seniors. In fact, not one player is younger than a junior, while Osseo's youth has carried it so far. There's one senior leading three sophomores and three freshmen. Will the youth be able to prevail or will the experienced Crimson bring Osseo back down to earth?
