Wayzata at Minnetonka
4:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 15

In a classic Lake Conference rivalry, Wayzata looks for its first win over Minnetonka since 2011.

Minnetonka went 9-3 in league play to clinch the Lake Conference title last season, while Wayzata sat in the cellar at 3-9. Despite losing two pitchers to graduation, Wayzata boasts a solid roster of upperclassmen and is bound to improve on last year's performance.

Meanwhile, Minnetonka blazed to a 7-2 victory over Coon Rapids in the season opener last week. Senior McKenzie Paap sparked the offense with two triples, two walks and four runs scored. Kennedy McCutheon was dynamite on the hill, giving up no hits while striking out seven in five shutout innings.
