Minnetonka at Eden Prairie
4:15 p.m., Friday, April 24

Minnetonka and Eden Prairie meet for the 12th time since 2011, with the Eagles holding a 6-5 advantage in this classic Lake Conference rivalry.

Eden Prairie seniors Elsa Hauschildt, Nataly Shields, Chloe Haugh and Lexi Klemp have their eyes set on the Lake title after watching Minnetonka take it last year.

The Eagles began their season with wins over Park and Shakopee before falling to South Suburban Conference heavyweight Prior Lake 9-1. Eden Prairie then defeated Hopkins but lost back-to-back contests to Lakeville North and Andover.

Minnetonka continues to adjust after losing eight seniors last year, falling to 2-3 overall after losing at Prior Lake 10-0 on April 16. The Skippers are still looking for consistency in the pitcher's circle after giving up 29 runs through their first five games.

Senior Abigail Martinson recorded five hits and five RBI in her first nine at-bats, while senior McKenzie Paap has three runs and two triples in the first four games for Minnetonka.
