Benilde-St. Margaret's at Bloomington Jefferson
4:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 21

Benilde-St. Margaret's has bolted to a 6-1 start after getting production from up and down its lineup. While Gophers recruit Maddie Houlihan and junior pitcher Lilly Johnson have emerged as leaders, seniors Lizzie Huether (11 hits, eight runs scored, nine RBI, eight stolen bases, .611 batting average) and Christine Lager (seven hits, three triples, six runs scored, six RBI, .350 batting average) are putting up all-conference numbers.

Johnson is 5-1 and has allowed 36 hits and 18 runs (14 earned) while striking out 33 strikeouts and walking only eight in 34 innings pitched. The only bump Benilde-St. Margaret's has hit was a 14-4 loss to Chanhassen on April 14.

Bloomington Jefferson is off to a 3-0 start with shutout wins against Chaska and Robbinsdale Cooper and a 3-2 win over Chanhassen. Sophomore Ashley Neuenfeldt and junior Rachel Evavold held the Storm to two runs on nine hits in the April 16 win.
