Little Falls at Albany
5 p.m., Tuesday, April 21

If they could, Little Falls and Albany might just join forces to try to give high-powered Becker its first loss. The Flyers and the Huskies each had their season-opening winning streaks snapped by the Bulldogs last week

Since the rules don't allow for such a thing, the Flyers and Huskies have to settle for facing each other in this Granite Ridge Conference game.

Little Falls was enjoying a seven-game unbeaten streak, including two games in which it scored 20 or more runs, until Becker shut the Flyers out 8-0 on April 17. Junior outfielder Jordan Schuett went 2-for-3, but the Flyers were unable to string anything together.

Albany won five straight by a combined margin of 55-17 but fell victim to Becker 9-3 on April 16. Pitcher Courtney Buerman is 4-1 with a 3.16 ERA and 19 strikeouts. She's allowed 16 hits and walked 19 in 31 innings.
