Eden Prairie at Wayzata

With five teams separated by no more than two games, the Lake Conference is still up for the taking. Neither Eden Prairie nor Wayzata have had particularily strong starts, but the Eagles are perched atop the standings with a 2-0 conference record.

Junior shortstop Laruen Oberle led the Eagles to a 12-2 conference win over Edina on April 22, going 3-for-4 with two home runs and five RBI. The win snapped a three-game skid as Eden Prairie improved to 4-4 overall.

The Trojans (2-3, 0-2) ended a three-game losing streak of their own with a 7-5 win over Centennial on April 22. Senior Annaliese Buhl was a home run shy of the hitting for the cycle and had an RBI, stolen base and one run scored.
