Little Falls at Becker
5 p.m., Monday, April 27

Little Falls plots its revenge against first-place Becker in a Granite Ridge Conference showdown.

Becker blemished Little Falls' perfect record -- and maintained its own -- with an 8-0 victory on April 17. Pitcher Brianna Corey struck out 11 Flyers, allowing just four hits in seven innings, and junior Hailey Fitzpatrick went 3-for-4 with a double, two stolen bases and three RBI. The win gave the Bulldogs sole possession of first place.

Aside from the April 17 goose egg, Little Falls (7-1, 4-1) has an explosive offense that scored 22 runs in the season opener at Holdingford and 20 against Foley on April 14. The Flyers know what to expect from Becker (6-0, 5-0) and look to hand the Bulldog's their first loss.

Chelsea Moran was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored, while Sarah Gold had three hits and one RBI in a 10-9 victory over St. Cloud Cathedral on April 13. Jordan Schuett finished with three hits, Kristen Stewart had two RBI and Katelynn Kanieski chipped in two hits and an RBI in the win.
