No. 8-2A Visitation has raced to a 8-0 overall record and a 5-0 Tri-Metro Conference mark. The Blazers have outscored opponents 72-9, including a 17-0 drubbing of Fridley and 10-0 victories over Columbia Heights and DeLaSalle.

Senior Kierstin Anderson-Glass has a 5-0 record with 36 strikeouts.

The move to the Tri-Metro has been good to Holy Angles, who went 2-11 in the Missota Conference and 4-15 overall last season. The Stars' roster includes 12 freshmen, and many have played key roles in the team starting 5-1 overall and 3-1 in league play. 

Freshman pitcher Melya Owens has been spectacular at the plate - with three homers and six RBI - and in the pitcher's circle, where she has a 5-1 record, 1.40 ERA and 26 strikeouts.
