Alexandria at St. Cloud Tech

After winning five of their last six games, Alexandria is perched atop the Central Lakes Conference standings but have not yet secured the title.

The Cardinals (10-5) swept a doubleheader with Rocori on May 8, winning 6-4 and 12-1 and improving their league mark to 7-2.

After splitting a doubleheader with Sartell-St. Stephen on May 8, St. Cloud Tech (7-7) is 5-4 in conference play and has ahold of third place. Tigers, however, can catch the Cardinals with a late-season run.

Reagan Lyle set a state record for stolen bases in the game with seven in a 5-3 win over Big Lake on April 13. She broke the old mark of five.

St. Cloud Tech coach Mike Trewick has reportedly given Lyle the go-ahead to steal whenever she's on base, and the sophomore catcher seems set to lead a Tigers' run to the conference title.
