With a 13-7 win over Princeton on May 5, Chisago Lakes improved to 13-4 overall and gained control of the Mississippi 8 Conference Red Division with a 6-1 league mark.

The Wildcats' Alex Smith hit a three-run home run in an 8-1 win over Cambridge-Isanti on May 1, and the junior was equally impressive from the pitcher's circle in a 4-2 victory over Andover on April 25, finishing with seven strikeouts and no walks in a complete-game three-hitter.

In the Mississippi 8 Blue Division, Buffalo (9-3, 4-0) has won six of its last eight games, but it is coming off a 6-3 loss at Becker on May 8.

Sophomore infielder Mackenzie Johnson went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI to guide the division-leading Bison to a 6-2 victory over St. Francis on April 30.
