Prior Lake at Forest Lake
7 p.m., Thursday, May 12

Despite concerns regarding the impact of graduating five seniors and the loss of infielder and Auburn commit Justus Perry, who moved to Alabama, Prior Lake seems to be performing just fine.

Led by the formidable pitching duo of Angela McBeain and Caitlin Stone, the Lakers are unbeaten this season, but they could find it difficult to stay that way with back-to-back games against Eagan and Forest Lake this week.

Should Prior Lake (14-0, 7-0) get past the Wildcats (9-2, 5-0) in a South Suburban contest on Wednesday, it will put its perfect record on the line in a nonconference matchup with a Rangers group that is no stranger to upending top teams.

Forest Lake (9-6, 7-6) defeated No. 3-4A Bloomington Jefferson and No. 7-4A Chanhassen at its home tournament on April 23.
