Detroit Lakes' home doubleheader with Park Rapids on Tuesday could decide the Mid-State Conference championship.

With a sweep of the undefeated Panthers (14-0, 4-0), the Lakers (12-1, 5-1) will lock up the league title, while Park Rapids will capture the crown with two victories.

A split keeps the Panthers in the hunt for the title, one they can secure with a sweep of No. 3-2A Pequot Lakes in a doubleheader on Thursday.

Detroit Lakes pitcher Emma Maguire is 10-0 with a 3.17 ERA this season, and Kyra Vagle leads the team with a .683 batting average.

Kylee Pachel went 4-for-4 with three RBI and Macky Warne also had three RBI in the Panthers' 11-1 win over Wadena-Deer Creek last Tuesday.
