Woodbury (1-1, 1-1) bounced back from a 3-2 season-opening loss to Forest Lake, defeating Cretin-Derham Hall 10-2 on April 13 behind some potent offense.

Meagan Bliese hit a grand slam against the Raiders that erased a 2-1 deficit and the Royals never looked back. Jade Boisjoli and Ellie Condon each had two RBI in the win.

Pitchers Ashley Mickschl, Ally Hjort and Shannon Motzko held Cretin-Derham Hall to four hits in Woodbury's win. The combo will have to slow down a hot-hitting Park of Cottage Grove club that's coming off a 14-4, five-inning win over Eden Prairie.

Riley Perryman had four hits for the Wolfpack (4-1, 2-1) against the Eagles and pitcher Bryanna Olson got the win.

Both Park of Cottage Grove and Woodbury trail Stillwater for the top spot in the Suburban East Conference standings, but with two other conference games for each team before this Friday tilt, a strong week could see the winner pushing for the conference lead.
