Chanhassen has grabbed the No. 1 spot in the Class 4A rankings by posting a 6-0 start that includes shutouts in five of those games. Taylor Manno and Maddie Schwartz have thrown two of those shutouts. Manno threw a no-hitter on April 21 in a 1-0 win over West Fargo where she struck out 16. Schwartz has allowed just five hits and struck out 20 in her two starts.

Marybeth Olson leads the Storm (6-0, 4-0) with 11 RBI and is hitting .550. Tori Tollefson has 10 RBI and a .556 average while Velazquez leads the team with 12 runs and a .615 average.

Buffalo’s lineup has the tools to avoid becoming Chanhassen's sixth shutout. Hansen leads the state with four home runs and is tied for fourth in the state with 13 RBI. Katie Carlson is tied for seventh in the state with 12 RBI. Hansen is hitting .524 and Codi Zwack leads the team with a .579 average, Carlson is hitting .500 with a team-high 11 runs.
