Farmington vs. Rosemount

Farmington got off to a 7-0 start before losing 7-0 to Prior Lake in a non-conference game on Saturday. Maddie Muelken has been particularly good for the Tigers (7-1, 4-0) this season. Muelken led No. 4-4A Farmington to a 2-1 victory in the first meeting between these two teams, striking out six and allowing five hits to defeat Rosemount's standout pitcher Gabby Sprang. 

But with Sprang throwing the ball, the Irish (4-3, 3-2) always have a chance to win. The issue has been finding runs for the past two seasons. The three losses the Irish have taken have come by a combined four runs.

Maria Back has helped some with the offense, recording a team-high .600 batting average and a team-high five RBI. Danielle Sorenson is hitting .524 and Sprang sports a .455 average.
