Visitation vs. Academy of Holy Angels

Visitation and Holy Angels are two of three undefeated teams in Tri-Metro Conference play and meet to establish which team gets the inside track to a league title.

The No. 4-3A Blazers (6-1, 3-0) have reigned the Tri-Metro for the past four years and are coming off a 3-2 victory over St. Louis Park on April 28. Paisley Luna went 3-for-3 with a run against the Orioles and Kaitlyn Zenner had an RBI and two hits for Visitation. Emilie Gitter got the win for the Blazers.

The No. 9-3A Stars (6-0, 5-0) are challenging for the conference title with their undefeated Tri-Metro record and their offense, which has averaged more than 13 runs a game this season.

Megan Meyer leads the Stars with eight RBI and is hitting .368. Rylee Fischer has hit .500 through four games with six RBI while Lauren Holtgren and Erin Powers each have six RBI.
