Totino-Grace vs. Academy of Holy Angels

Marie Schupanitz helped power No. 6-3A Totino-Grace to a 7-6 win over No. 9-4A Blaine on May 11, finishing the game with four RBI, a home run and a triple. Ella Eibensteiner also drove in a pair of runs for the Eagles to help overcome a tough start from pitcher Erin Poepping, who allowed six runs on 12 hits.

Totino-Grace (15-2, 10-1) starts the week riding a 10-game winning streak and takes on another ranked opponent on Wednesday when visiting No. 7-3A Holy Angels. The Eagles wrap up the regular season against Andover on May 19.

The Stars (10-2, 9-0) have hit a rough patch after losing to Edina 10-7 and to No. 4-3A Chisago Lakes 11-1 in six-innings last week.

Riley Thalhuber had three RBI in the loss to the Hornets and is hitting .459 with team-high 24 RBI. Lauren Holtgren has a .541 batting average and has 18 RBI.
