Visitation vs. St. Paul Como Park
4:30 p.m., Thursday, May 17

St. Paul Como Park had its nine-game winning streak snapped in a 4-3 loss to St. Paul Highland Park on May 8, but with Kathryn Proper pitching, the Cougars haven’t lost back-to-back games yet this season. Proper and St. Paul Como Park started this year with three straight shutouts and have five on the season.

The Cougars (13-3, 7-1) have faced just one ranked opponent this season, losing 5-2 to now No. 1-1A Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian on April 22. St. Paul Como Park will get another chance at knocking off a quality opponent in Visitation.

The formerly-ranked Blazers (13-4, 8-1) are also beginning the week coming off a loss. Visitation fell 9-3 to Minnetonka on May 11 and is 5-3 in its last eight games.

Hannah Weintraut drove in four runs and hit a home run and Jenna Hoops went 2-for-4 with an RBI in an 11-10 victory over DeLaSalle May 10.
