After ending last season and beginning this season in almost exactly the same fashion, Metro West Conference contenders Benilde-St. Margaret's and Chanhassen have a chance to size each other up for the first time as league rivals in our Top Game of the Week.
On the surface, the teams seem identical. Both won 16 regular season games last season before losing in section finals, and both began the 2015 season with victories thanks to 12-run explosions.
However, while the experienced Red Knights rally behind five-year veteran Maddie Houlihan, the Storm carry just one senior and one junior after losing three players to graduation.
No one can say how the newly-founded Metro West will play out, but both Chanhassen and Benilde-St. Margaret's are expected to finish near the top.
