April 24

Becker 9, Buffalo 8, 8 innings. Becker scored a run in the eighth inning to earn the win in extra innings. Ellie Schwartz went 2-for-4 with home run and collected four RBIs. Teammate Corrie Weise hit a home run and had two RBIs. Pitcher Brianna Corey got the win and tallied two strikeouts. Emily Hansen led Buffalo with a home run, and went 4-for-4 with two RBIs. Teammate Sarah Hudson contributed with a pair of hits.

April 27

Elk River 9, Champlin Park 5. Elk River scored four runs in the fourth inning to pull away from Champlin Park and earn the victory. Avery Hills had a pair of hits and tallied five RBIs for Elk River. Teammate Annie Volkers went 3-for-4, and pitcher Haley Ullrich earned the win. Taylor Sloat went 4-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Champlin Park. Sloat also recorded eight strikeouts.

April 28

Minnehaha Academy 6, St. Croix Lutheran 5. Kate Pryor went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs for Minnehaha Academy, and teammate Tessa Leiner went 2-for-4 with a double. Pitcher Olivia DuBois earned the win, tallying three strikeouts. St. Croix Lutheran’s Thea Spencer went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and Emily Tiarks had a triple.

April 28

New Prague 3, Orono 2. New Prague scored a run in the seventh inning to earn the win. Nichole Reed had a hit and two RBIs for New Prague, and Emily Schmitz went 2-for-2. Pitcher Mia Kramer gave up only three hits and struck out six. Orono’s Jordan Allar went 1-for-3 with an RBI, and pitcher Alyssa Denneson struck out five.

April 29

Woodbury 5, Forest Lake 2. Three runs in the sixth inning earned Woodbury the win. Cam Veenbaas went 3-for-4 with a double, home run and two RBIs. Teammate Ally Hjort had a hit and two RBIs. Hjort also earned the win and had three strikeouts. Forest Lake’s Kayla Madison went 3-for-4 with a double.
