Kaylie Hanson hit a pair of doubles to help the Pillager Huskies double their way past the Verndale Pirates in a 9-2 season opening win Friday.

Pillager’s Danielle Johnson added two RBIs and a run to go with her double, while Ally Hunstad, Alexa Flestcher, Kaci Stelck, and Cierra Anderson also recorded doubles.
