Jackson County Central entered Thursday’s doubleheader against Worthington like a car engine needing a jump start.

The Huskies had been struggling so far in the season, unable to consistently find their way into the win column.

Senior pitchers Sarah Christopher and Breanne Rentschler gave the Huskies the lift they desperately needed, the pair each pitching complete game four-hitters against the Trojans to lead the Huskies to a doubleheader sweep.
