Anoka and Elk River are two of the three remaining undefeated teams in the Northwest Suburban Conference, and one will gain an early edge in the league standings with a victory in this matchup.

The No. 1-4A Tornadoes (3-0, 3-0) will get their biggest challenge to date when they travel to face the Elks (5-0, 4-0), who enter the matchup hot following close wins against Maple Grove and Centennial last week.

Haley Ullrich leads Elk River with six RBI and is hitting .308. Olivia Wolters, an Augustana (South Dakota) commit who is batting .312, has posted a 1.17 ERA, 46 strikeouts and just four walks in 30 innings pitched this year.
