It’s been feast or famine for New Life Academy this season, with the  No. 9-2A Eagles (3-2, 2-0) scoring 20 or more runs in two wins while allowing 12 or more runs in each of their losses.

Minnesota Christian Athletic Association foe Southwest Christian (6-4, 3-2) shut out four of its first five opponents. But since starting the season 5-1, the Stars have gone 1-3 in their last four games. 

Elizabeth Schwarz leads Southwest Christian with 14 RBI and is hitting .306. Brooke Herman has a team-high .429 batting average and 12 RBI. The sophomore pitcher is also 5-1 in the circle with a 1.67 ERA and 62 strikeouts in 37 2/3 innings.
