Thief River Falls/Goodridge/Grygla-Gatzke has beaten No. 8-1A Red Lake Falls and No. 9-1A Badger/Greenbush-Middle River this season, and now the Prowlers (6-2) take on another ranked opponent when traveling to high-scoring Park Rapids on Thursday. 

The No. 7-2A Panthers (11-0, 2-0) set a state record for most runs scored in a game with a 52-0 victory over Bagley in the season opener. Tara Johanning went 6-for-9 with nine RBI and Alexis Hinkley-Smith had eight RBI in the win that added to Park Rapids' impressive season total of 185 runs scored. The Panthers are 66 runs away from tying the program's single-season record with nine games to play.
