Forest Lake will put its perfect record to the test once again on Tuesday as it takes on Suburban East Conference rival Park of Cottage Grove.
The No. 3-4A Rangers (16-0, 13-0) handed the No. 4-4A Wolfpack their lone loss of the season in a 3-2 decision on May 2, cementing Forest Lake atop the league standings. It will likely need to defeat Park again to win its first Suburban East title since 2014.
The Rangers offense has been solid all season. Strong hitting from senior first baseman/shortstop Sheridan Glashan, a College of St. Benedict commit, leads the way, hitting .431 with five home runs and 20 RBI.
The Wolfpack (15-1, 12-1) will counter with a potent offense of their own. Senior third baseman Delaney Young's big bat was on display last Friday, when she had 3-for-4 performance in Park's 10-3 win against Stillwater.
