Suburban East Conference contenders Forest Lake (5-0, 5-0) and Park of Cottage Grove (8-1, 5-1) share the top spot in the Class 4A coaches' poll. The winner likely takes sole possession of the No. 1 ranking and inside position in the race for the league title.

No matter. They're both exceptional teams among the best in the class and South Suburban Conference rivals.
