Forest Lake vs. Park of Cottage Grove, 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 1. Suburban East Conference contenders Forest Lake (5-0, 5-0) and Park of Cottage Grove (8-1, 5-1) share the top spot in the Class 4A coaches' poll. The winner likely takes sole possession of the No. 1 ranking and inside position in the race for the league title.
Farmington vs. Shakopee, 4:30 p.m., Monday, May 6. Farmington (7-2, 4-1) is rising in the Class 4A coaches' poll, up to a tie for seventh this week, while Shakopee (6-3, 4-3) is falling, down to sixth from fourth. No matter. They're both exceptional teams among the best in the class and South Suburban Conference rivals.
