Other games to keep an eye on

Red Lake Falls vs. Badger-Greenbush-Middle River, 11:45 a.m., Sunday, May 9. There's a reason Badger-Greenbush-Middle River is ranked second in Class 1A. Following a 9-6 victory over Class 4A Moorhead on April 9, the Gators (9-0, 6-0) won their next eight games by a combined score of 121-6. The Eagles (5-3, 2-3) are a good team with the misfortune of having to play the Gators three times in the regular season. After losing 16-1 and 11-1 to Badger-Greenbush-Middle River, the Eagles will be glad to put the Gators in their rear-view mirror.

Benilde-St. Margaret's vs. Mankato East, 7 p.m., Friday, May 7. No. 9-3A Benilde-St. Margaret's (7-1, 4-1) travels to meet No. 6-3A Mankato East (7-2, 7-2) in a battle of Class 3A powers.

Prior Lake vs. Rosemount, 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 5. Prior Lake (5-2, 5-1) has quietly been putting together a strong season. The Lakers face a stiff test in No. 3-4A Rosemount (6-1, 6-1).
