Class 4A, Section 3 championship: No. 2 seed East Ridge defeats No. 1 seed Rosemount

The Irish pushed the Raptors to a second game, but the Raptors prevailed to defeat the defending Class 4A state champion.

Game 2

There will be a new state champion crowned next week in Mankato at the Class 4A softball tournament. East Ridge defeated the defending champions 7-1 in the Class 4A, Section 3 title game at Richfield Middle School on Friday night, and it put an end to Rosemount's quest for back-to-back titles.
