For a time, Rosemount was at the mercy of Hopkins’ senior pitcher Signe Dohse.

The Northwestern commit helped her cause with a two-run home run in the top of the third inning. Dohse took a no-hitter into that same inning with her team ahead 2-0.

A high-powered Rosemount attack chock full of future collegiate talent wasn’t going to stay down for long.

The Irish got a run back in the third inning and exploded for 11 in the fifth to run away with a 12-2 mercy rule win and stay unbeaten on the season.
