See who fans voted as the Top Performer from April 24 - 29.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Softball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email scores@nbcuni.com

Top performer winner

Kaitlyn Geschwill, Pequot Lakes. Geschwill and the Patriots played their first four games this past week, and the senior was unstoppable. In those four games, she pitched four complete shutouts on April 25 and 27 against Aitkin and Crosby-Ironton, respectively. In total, Geschwill allowed only four hits while racking up 52 strikeouts. She also finished the four games batting .850.

Top performer candidates

Chloe Barber, White Bear Lake. The pitcher helped lead her team to a 3-0 week, starting with the Bears' 2-1 win over Woodbury on April 24. Barber was clutch on the mound for all seven innings, and allowed only two hits while tossing 16 strikeouts. The Bears followed that up with back-to-back wins against Mounds View – in which Barber hit two home runs while throwing out a combined 17 batters.

Ciara Fahey, Belle Plaine. The Tigers kept their spot among the top of the Minnesota River Conference last week thanks to the explosiveness of Fahey. She came up big in a doubleheader against Mayer Lutheran on April 25, batting a combined 6-for-7 at the plate with three home runs, seven RBIs and 12 total bases.

Bri Tix, Red Wing. The junior was dynamic on April 27 to help get the Wingers' season moving in the right direction. Tix pitched all seven innings and was just one hit away from a no-hitter against Lake City. She pitched 13 strikeouts but also did damage swinging. Tix went 4-for-4 at the plate, including two doubles and a home run.

Kenzie Cox, Edina. The Hornets played a jaw-dropping game on April 27 that saw them and Wayzata put up a combined 36 runs. Cox was a major reason for her team's 21-15 victory. She connected on two of her four at bats, one of them going the distance for a home run. With four total bases and three RBIs, Cox was also a shifty runner to add a stolen base to her stat sheet.
