Introducing the softball Metro Player of the Year: Jessa Snippes of Rosemount

She’s a nearly unhittable pitcher and practically unstoppable hitter, skills she will take to the Gophers.

Rosemount starts play in the Class 4A state tournament Thursday at Caswell Park in North Mankato. The Irish will face Hopkins at 9 a.m.
