Jessa Snippes was just about perfect this season, and her team was too.
Snippes never lost a game on the mound, and the Irish never registered a single loss all season.
The senior pitcher's unblemished run has her atop the state's individual awards after she was announced 2023 Ms. Softball by Play Ball! Minnesota on Monday, June 26.
In 25 games logged on the Minnesota Softball Hubs, Snippes racked up a perfect 21-0 record on the mound, a 1.05 ERA and averaged nearly 10 strikeouts a game to finish with 200 total sit downs.
Rosemount finished 26-0 and won the Class 4A state title with a 6-1 win over East Ridge. Snippes allowed just one run off of two hits and fanned seven batters, putting a stamp on an unforgettable season.
Snippes will suit up for the University of Minnesota this coming fall.
