Visiting Goodhue got off to a quick start thanks to sophomore Sharece Hahn's two-run triple in the top of the first inning Thursday, but that was all they could manage against Megan Nelson in the season-opener for both teams.

Nelson, Zumbrota-Mazeppa's junior pitcher, retired the final 19 batters she faced and finished with 15 strikeouts.
