Burnsville edges Lakeville North 4-3

BURNSVILLE 4, LAKEVILLE NORTH 3: Pinch-runner Erica Belter scored on an error in the top of the ninth inning, giving the Blaze a victory over the Panthers in the South Suburban. Winning pitcher Kelsey Anderson was 2-for-5 at the plate with one RBI. Megen Lehnen drove in the other two runs for Burnsville.

LESTER PRAIRIE 23, HERITAGE CHRISTIAN 2: Senior Calla Bondhus got her season started on the right foot, going 3-for-4 with a grand slam as the Bulldogs won their season opener in MCAA play in five innings. Bondhus finished with 5 RBI.

NORWOOD-YOUNG AMERICA 11, SIBLEY EAST 0: Freshman Natalie Stockman pitched a five-inning perfect game as the Raiders shut out the Wolverines in the Minnesota River.

SHAKOPEE 4, FARMINGTON 0: Senior Ashley Walker threw a one-hit shutout while striking out 12 in the Sabers’ victory over the Tigers in the Missota. Walker was also 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI.

TOTINO-GRACE 10, HOLY ANGELS 0: Erica Meyer beat the Stars with her arm and bat in a nonconference matchup. The senior threw a no-hitter while striking out 14. At the plate, Meyer went 3-for-3 and scored three runs.
