Murray County Central had 17 hits in an 18-7 softball victory against Worthington on Monday.
Elissa Reinsma (3-for-5, three runs) opened the contest with a single off of Worthington starting pitcher Angela Robinson and quickly advanced to third with a pair of stolen bases. Jade Giese (3-for-5, three RBI, three runs) knocked in Reinsma with a double.
Three Trojan errors allowed three more runs to cross the plate in the inning, setting the tone for a tough day for the Trojans in the field.
