No. 4 Hopkins rallies past Minnetonka

HOPKINS 7, MINNETONKA 3: Down 2-0 in the fourth inning, senior Maddy Bauer hit a three-run home run to lead the Class 3A, No. 4 Royals past the Skipper in the Lake Conference on Monday. Senior Bianca Peterson also hit a three-run homer in the victory for Hopkins (13-2).

MOUNDS VIEW 7, EAST RIDGE 3: Senior Liz Towne went 3-for-4 with three RBI, leading the Mustangs past the Raptors in the Suburban East.

PARK CENTER 3, COON RAPIDS 0: Junior  Nicola Tade tossed a one-hitter while striking out 14 as the Class 2A, No. 4 Pirates shut out the Cardinals in the Northwest Suburban. Tade also had a two-run single in the third inning.

PARK OF COTTAGE GROVE 11, WHITE BEAR LAKE 1: The Wolfpack, fresh off winning the Eastview Invitational, stretched their winning streak to nine games by downing the Bears in the Suburban East. Senior Jessica Kullmann went 4-for-4 to lead the offensive attack.

ROGERS 2, PRINCETON 1: Junior outfielder Leah Perreault singled home Joleen Baker in the bottom of the ninth, giving the Royals a victory over the Tigers in Mississippi 8 play. Winning pitcher junior Christina Hajder only allowed four hits while striking out 18.

STILLWATER 5, CRETIN-DERHAM HALL 3: Junior Dani Wigen went 2-for-3 with three, leading the Ponies past the Raiders in the Suburban East.  Sophomore Rachel Rhode pitched four shutout innings of relief, striking out six, to earn the win.
