Lakeville South’s Kendall Palfi has been the winning pitcher in all 10 of the school’s softball victories this year. Palfi, who will play at the University of North Dakota next season, is also hitting over .400.

The best movie I’ve seen in the past year? “Source Code.”

Three songs I never skip on my iPod are? “The Animal” by Disturbed;
“Uprising” by Muse; “Fiction” by Avenged Sevenfold.

Three words my friends or teammates might use to describe me?
Very outgoing; approachable; understanding.

How do you balance school and sports during the year? School comes first, so I make sure I get all my homework done so that I am ready to play when game time approaches.

At my first varsity practice, I felt … ready to play.

Favorite pregame meal? Pasta.

What is your most memorable moment as a high school athlete? Having my parents come to every single one of my softball games.

What are your goals for the 2010-11 school year as an athlete? Take my high school softball team to state.

The best sports advice you received? Play every game like it’s your last.

Do you have a secret talent — and if so, what is it? I go trap and skeet shooting with my family.

In 10 years, I hope I’m … coaching my own softball team and working as a mechanical engineer.
