For the first in program history, Brainerd finished the regular season 17-0 as they swept Friday’s non-conference doubleheader with Moorhead 10-4 and 12-0.

The sweep assured the Class 3A, eighth-ranked Warriors of home-field advantage throughout the Section 8 playoffs.

Nikki Anderson struck out four and walked one in three no-hit innings of Game One. Karlie Manton relieved her and struck out five over four innings. She did allow four runs on five hits.
